The Crate Escape Overnight Cabin
Policies & Procedures

For the safety and well-being of all daycare and overnight guests, boarding in our Overnight Cabin is available only to those clients that attend daycare on a regular basis (at least once per week).

Each guest will receive a full day of play and fun in our daycare facility, and will then be tucked into a private suite  for a night of well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Our overnight accommodations include:

• A custom-built cabin with private suites for each dog
• Accommodations for multiple dog families
• Complete climate control and ventilation for our guests’ comfort
• Soothing music specifically designed for resting canines
• Comfortable bedding: Tail-R-Made bed roll
• Special bedtime cabin cookies
• Safe and immaculately clean
• Small and peaceful home setting

Safety and security features include:

• Overnight surveillance system
• Professionally monitored security and fire alarm system

Policies and Procedures

1.   All overnight guests must fulfill the posted requirements for our daycare program. If you would like to consider The Crate Escape, and your dog is not a regular daycare client but is well-socialized and non-aggressive, please complete the Enrollment Package and call us for an assessment appointment. 2.   All overnight guests must provide proof of current vaccinations as stated in the Enrollment Package.

3.   All overnight guests must bring their own food. This avoids stomach upsets and maintains the dog’s normal routine. Please bring enough food for the entire stay clearly labeled with the dog’s name and feeding instructions.

4.   Oral medications will be administered if they are provided in the original container with dosing instructions from the veterinarian.

5.   Guests may bring favorite toys and a blanket to keep in their suite as long as there is no choking hazard. Please, no squeakies.

6.   The Crate Escape reserves the right to refuse overnight accommodations to obsessive barkers or overly destructive or stressed dogs. This ensures that cabin guests will be content and able to rest during their stay.

7.   All overnight guests must be dropped off between 7:00 am and 9:00 am Monday through Friday, or Saturday between 7:30 am and 8:00 am, at the beginning of their stay. This will provide a full day of play before they turn in for the night.

8.   There is no drop-off available on Sundays.

9.   Overnight guests are able to check-out Monday through Friday. Dogs not picked up by 9:30 am will incur a standard daycare charge for the day. To avoid interruptions during daycare, advance notice of any pick-up between 9:30 am to 3:00 pm must be given in advance.

10.   Saturday check-out is available at 8:00 am or 2:00 pm when scheduled in advance.

11.   Sunday check-out is available if scheduled in advance by appointment only.

12.   There is no drop-off or check-out on major holidays.

Rates: (daily rate includes daycare and overnight care)

Members*                     $40       Holiday Rate:   $45
Non-members               $45       Holiday Rate:   $50
* Members are clients that attend daycare regularly at The Crate Escape at least one time per week.

• Discounts are available for multiple dogs from the same household.

• For daycare clients with pre-paid packages, overnight stays are billed separately but the package expiration dates are extended according to the length of stay.

• All overnight guests must place a credit card number on file.

• Cancellation policy: 72 hours during standard periods or a $40 fee will be charged, 14 days during heavy booking periods or the rate for half the scheduled stay will be charged.
